April Tips

Tip #1

See the Bigger Opportunity

Think of each Path as a “Building Block” in your skill set.

  • After the first completed Path, choose the next Path as a Skill Building Project. Even on Level One, make every project focused on growing your new skills.
  • Look at all the projects on all five Levels, then select the ones you like as your building blocks.
  • Think “OUTSIDE THE BOX.” Use your job, club, church, civic group, community center, and other places to practice and receive credit.

Tip # 2

Straight from Education Program FAQ

The improved system will allow for many improvements and enhancements, including:

  • You will have an easier time navigating the system, launching your Path, and working through projects.
  • When your completed Path or Level is approved, it will automatically be submitted for recognition in Club Central.
  • You will be able to access Pathways on your mobile device, with a mobile app to follow in the future.
  • Pathways will be friendly and accessible to our Visually Impaired members.
  • You will be able to share your educational accomplishments directly to social media from Pathways.

Tip # 3

Base Camp Completions and Approvals

  • If you are a member of more than one club, make sure you submit your Levels or Paths for completion with the club that you wish to receive the Distinguished Club Program credit.
  • If you’ve completed any projects that are not showing as complete on Base Camp, mark them complete.
  • If you’ve completed any Levels or Paths that have not been submitted on Base Camp, submit them for approval now and ensure your Vice President of Education knows they’re ready to be approved.
  • If you have any pending approvals on Base Camp, talk with your Vice President of Education.
  • Club Central Submissions
    • Confirm that all Level and Path completions you’ve achieved are recorded in Club Central by checking your Education Awards in the Achievement Board section of My Home.
