As required by Toastmasters International, the District Executive Committee (DEC) voted in July to approve IN-PERSON contests for the Area level and above. This decision was made with the understanding that D84 can change to VIRTUAL contests, depending on the CDC guidelines and health concerns to members. The DEC will be carefully watching conditions and has the ability to reassess this decision at the December DEC meeting.
Club contests must be conducted between October 1 and December 31, 2021. Clubs may decide whether they wish to hold their own club contest virtually or in person.
Leaders of D84 are dedicated to protecting the safety and health of all concerned, as well as providing members with a quality contest experience that promotes the best in contestants.
